Join our onsite Agriculture Teacher, Ms. Toni Myers, and Farm Chef, Jason Walls, as they teach and demonstrate all about growing and harvesting microgreens at home. Learn about their therapeutic and high nutritional value … and simple ways to incorporate them into your daily routine.
After our “learning lunch”, you will have the opportunity to create your very own TKC microgreen seed tray to take home and use in your kitchen. Plus, you will have the opportunity to sample a recipe, using microgreens in your daily routine.
This interactive workshop includes:
Grow It: What are microgreens and what are their health benefits? Learn how to grow microgreens at home!
Harvest It: How and when to harvest microgreens from your own seed tray.
Use it: Demonstration on how we use microgreens at the Castle Farm restaurant.
