Nourish the mind, body, and soul with TKC’s Lunch + Learn Workshop: Lavender. Loofah. Love.
Join our onsite Agriculture Teacher, Ms. Toni Myers, for a fun and interactive workshop about growing, harvesting, and using our lavender plants and loofah gourds at The Kentucky Castle.
Both lavender and loofah have many health and wellness benefits. Toni will share her journey with growing lavender in Kentucky and how we use it at The Kentucky Castle. She will also share how she stumbled into the loofah vegetable gourd, a cheerful yellow flower, and what the harvest process entails to enjoy the end product (a loofah)!
After our “learning lunch”, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and take home a mini loofah on a rope.

Honeynut bisque
Caponata sandwich with roasted red pepper, pesto, beet sprouts, arugula, brie cheese on focaccia bread.
Mediterranean Farro salad with chickpea , olives, cucumber, red wine vinaigrette and Farro grain.
* During check-out, please select which meal choice for each attendee … and note if there are any food allergies.
* Guests will be seated with other attendees to fill tables.

* Event will be held in the Ballroom inside the Castle.
