Welcome to the Midway Bourbon and Blues Festival at Francisco’s Farm! Join the Midway Business Association for the inaugural Bourbon & Blues Festival set in the heart of Francisco’s Farm – downtown Midway. The MBA is well known for organizing some of the very best events in the state and this one is sure to top the list!
Local distilleries will be set up offering tastings through a ticketed pass. Downtown will be filled with fine art and hand crafted vendors as well as a great selection of food.
Midway is located 12 miles from Lexington and 45 minutes from Louisville, KY. We’re conveniently located 1.2 miles from I-64 off Exit 65. Midway was created as Kentucky’s first railroad town in the mid 1800’s and was a stopping point for steam locomotives to refuel and take on water. Midway remains as an active railroad community much the same as it did 150 years ago. The railroad tracks parallel the downtown businesses with both sides of the track lined with quaint shops and restaurants, including numerous antique stores, period and specialty shops that allow anyone a relaxed day of shopping. Whether your taste buds prefer homemade Kentucky hot brown, or fresh homemade desserts, Midway’s restaurants have it all.
