Midway Museum, at 101 East Main Street in Midway, Kentucky is launching a new exhibit featuring the Woodford County Bourbon Collections of John Batts and Todd McDaniel on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The day begins at 11AM with the dedication of the new research library at the museum, honoring former board member, John Batts.
The museum is open 11AM to 5PM, and during the day an Open House will feature Q & A session with Todd McDaniel exhibiting his personal collection of rare artifacts from the Schenley and Park & Tilford distilleries in Frankfort and Midway.
Other Kentucky bourbon historians and stake holders have been invited and are planning to attend to share their experience and knowledge during the day. We expect them in the afternoon, from 1PM to 5PM. The following people have been invited: Freddie Johnson (Buffalo Trace), Michael Veach (Bourbon in Kentucky), Nicolas Laracuente (Bourbon Archivist), Dan Scofield (Distillery Trail), Brian Hara (Bourbon Justice), Tim Knittle (Distilled Living), and Sam Rock & Ben Franzini (Bluegrass Distillers).
