“Sharon’s Star” Owner Sharon Shepard. A Christmas gift from my mother: the barn quilt provides the opportunity to combine my mother’s love of quilting and the enjoyment of owning a small farm. The simple pattern and primary colors never fail to awe me as I walk up to the barn to feed the horses. It was after the quilt was hung, that I saw further meaning. In the quilt square, I see my special Woodford County farm, green pastures surrounded by sunshine, with my heart in the middle.
